Who we are.

Momade baking memories has been the specialist when it comes to artisan cupcakes, pastries and macarons since 2010. The company once started with a small store in Antwerp, but now has five branches in both Belgium and the Netherlands. There, a team of passionate sweeties works every day around one mission: getting people around the table and giving them a good time with quality and artisanal goodies. All this with local products and attention to sustainability.

 

In addition to the regular store assortment, Momade also offers catering for numerous (corporate) events. Under the motto " You name it, we bake it.", the team of passionate pastry chefs makes every sweet wish come true. Behind the scenes, we make sure everything runs like clockwork, and that's where you come in!

Part-time store assistant 's-Hertogenbosch

Momade is looking for a part-time store assistant (20 hours/week) for the branch in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Specifically, your day as a store employee at Momade will look like the following:

 

🧁 You are responsible for opening and starting up the store

You start the day by opening the store on time and starting up the cash register system. You then make sure that all products are carefully placed in the refrigerated aisle and that the store is in perfect order before the first customers arrive.

 

🧁 You advise customers on our product range

Throughout the day you assist customers in word and deed. You know Momade's assortment like the back of your hand and are passionate about telling customers about it. Not only can you name all the flavors and ingredients, but you also give the customer tailor-made advice.

 

🧁 You serve customers in the store

After the customer has made a choice, you carefully pack the orders according to Momade rules. Then you complete the payment (cash or debit card) and escort the customer out with a smile.

 

🧁 You oversee order and cleanliness in the store

Our stores must be in perfect order at all times of the day. This means making sure throughout the day that the store remains clean and orderly at all times.

 

🧁 You take (phone) orders and pass them on to head office

You will take orders from customers in the store and over the phone. In doing so, it is important that all details are correctly noted and communicated to the head office.

 

🧁 You keep a perfectly structured inventory of all packaging

Momade products are packed in custom-made packaging to protect them in transit. You carefully keep track of how much of each package is still in stock and notify headquarters in a timely manner if it needs to be replenished.

 

🧁 You are solution-oriented when dealing with complaints

When customers would have complaints, you immediately take the initiative to resolve it as quickly as possible in the best way possible.

 

🧁 Cleaning up and shutting down the store

At the end of the day, you make sure that the store is closed cleanly and safely so that you or your colleague can start right away the next day!

 

WHO ARE YOU?

 

- You are a true foodie, with a passion for patisserie.

- You have previous experience in a similar position.

- You are fluent in Dutch.

- You have an eye for detail and highly value order and hygiene.

- You are very punctual, but also flexible when needed.

- You have the right skills to further assist customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.

- You are stress resistant and can handle criticism well.

- You have a strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm.

- You are diligent and always willing to keep learning.

- You are available on Saturdays.
